Gold Tells a Sensational Story --- Dollar Collapse Remains Pure Scaremongering

Some interpret soaring gold prices as evidence of the dollar's decline, but closer scrutiny reveals this analysis does not withstand examination. Over the past three quarters, the US dollar index has held steady around the 100 level. Even extending the lens back a decade, or four decades to 1986, the index has remained anchored near that level. The data shows no meaningful depreciation of the dollar relative to other currency systems.
